Goals in relation to this subtask from the Tech Annex:

• Complementary to technical developments in the services and incubator tasks in this WP, in the area of eIDAS 2.0 and EUDI wallets, T6 will: 
• Explore the research and education use cases for the wallet.
• Facilitate information exchange around the wallet developments in the GÉANT community.
• Foster collaboration towards global interoperability for the R&E use cases.
• Support participation in relevant forums, standardisation bodies, industry working groups, etc., fostering liaison and bringing in the position of the GÉANT community

Topics worked on in this subtask and their eventual evolution:

1. 1 Current state of the Digital Identity Wallets ->  5 Credentials and wallets community effort
2. 2 Digital identity wallet terminology -> Ontological view of wallets and credentials in R&E
3. 3 The role of identity federations in the wallet eco-system -> Cross boundary use of identities and the underlying trust infrastructures
4. 4 Interoperability for Identity Wallets and Credentials -> Seed for a global R&E interoperability lab
5. Impact analysis and storytelling

Output of the subtask

• Information from all topics worked on
• Survey results over time (atleast two)
• Impact analysis (story) - preferably both from a technical (CTO) and business (CEO) perspective
• Mini stories (under 5 minute) explaining different parts of this complex eco-system
• Guides for others (services and organizations) to utilize and be interoperable with the new emerging eco-system
