Alberta has introduced the Digital Alberta Wallet app, beginning with a mobile health card available to residents 14 and older. The app uses encryption and requires user consent for data sharing, ensuring privacy, while paper health cards remain valid. Parents can add children’s cards, and spouses can share within the wallet.
