2 Clarification of Status
The status of all federations was updated on the federation development page and it will be updated overtime to reflect progress.
- Pilot --> Candidate: MARnet / AAIEduMk (assessment by community, then vote)
- Pilot --> Candidate: MREN / eduID (policy needed for assessment)
3 Current Roadblocks
MARnet/Vasko asked whether "self-signed" certificates were acceptable for signing federation metadata. This is very acceptable to the federation community. Care should be taken with public websites and the use of certificates that end users can trust.
