| Proposed a new format and scope for the TF-RED community to evolve into a SIG and to seek engagements with research communities, rather than the focus being on how NRENs perform research engagement. The steering committe had a mixed view on this, with European based NRENs being in favor but representatives from the wider global community wanting to continue to discuss discusshow NRENs perform research engagement. The suggested compromise was to have 1 dedicated meeting about research enagement in person each year, such as at TNC. As this was a more approporiate location/event to host that type of forum. However, the steeing committe is yet to fully respond back to the proposed suggestion. | ||||||

9 June in Tirana alongside TNC23. 39 f2f participants, up to 11 online. | Meeting will focus on 1) blogs promoting the impact of NRENs globally, 2) social media and 3) various updates such as GREN map and COMPENDIUM website. Agenda can be found at: SIG-Marcomms TNC23 side meeting, June 9 2023 | Autumn meeting will be hosted by Asnet-AM on October 4-5 alongside EaPConnect project meeting. Focus will be on project communications (communication about impact and communication with different stakeholders).
