| Proposed a new format and scope for the TF-RED community to evolve into a SIG and to seek engagements with research communities, rather than the focus being on how NRENs perform research engagement. The steering committe had a mixed view on this, with European based NRENs being in favor but representatives from the wider global community wanting to continue to discusshow NRENs perform research engagement. The suggested compromise was to have 1 dedicated meeting about research enagement in person each year, such as at TNC. As this was a more approporiate location/event to host that type of forum. However, the steeing committe is yet to fully respond back to the proposed suggestion. | ||||||

Jan Meijer presenter about the strategy, room for improvements and what is done already by the community. Discussion about building and buying. Cloud Strategy Forum presence.
