PRACE and EUDAT data pilots (Stéphane Coutin):
As part of a PRACE call (DECI 13), 5 out of the selected projects have applied for a data pilot, granting them free access to EUDAT data services to store, preserve, share or publish their simulation results.
For the 2 e-Infrastructures, the aim of those pilots is to ensure services interoperability.
The security aspects are important and fit nicely within WISE-SBOD scope: data are not necessarily public, data will be transferred between the e-Infra, project teams will need to access them, some of the data will be open at some point ...
