But preferably early enough to not get inadvertently overtaken by events and be ready to take informed decisions. | After two decades doing identity federations and more than one decade doing interfederation our community has achieved quite an impressive global identity infrastructure with an impressive governance framework to keep things going. "Distributed Identities", SSI and eID are the new kids on the block. They can either steal is the show and make us redundant or we can show them that it is much more fun to re-use our stuff and takes them further. I favour the latter.
