Actions | - Identify skills necessary to run the project
- Use identified requirements (mostly non-functional requirements) to identify the required skills.
- Assign priorities to the skills, e.g., by considering core (must have) and secondary (should have/could have) skills.
- Identify skillsets of the team members
- Identify skills posessed by each team member
- Create the map of skills by matching the required skills with the skillsets of the team members
- Plan for growing the skillset of the team
- Identify missing skills in the map of skills
- Provide necessary training; consider internal seminars and workshops to share the knowledge
- If possible, plan at least two team members for each key skill
- Consider using the map of skills in recruiting new team members
