  1. Is there enough interest to keep working together?

  2. Policy: can we get some good templates to build upon them (added some examples to wiki)?
  3. Strategy: do we have enough "socially active" users? What are our goals (like improve communications ...), which initiatives to engage (like create Facebook account, start Twitter) ...
    We would like to ask all NREN's to share your Social Media Strategy and Policy. Upon that strategies we can try to build a common policy and strategy. We at Arnes don't have the strategy and policy yet, so I will try to write it on the wiki and you are all invited to comment, suggest, use some of the work.

  • John Dyer from TERENA mentioned that there will be a an ASPIRE foresight study workshop (23-24 May, Berlin). One of the proposed topics for study is Social Media adoption and use in the R&E Community. Check out the FB discussion board and the ASPIRE webpages
