Firewall On Demand (FoD)

  • FoD v1.5 = FoD with new functionalities: rule range specification, current rule behaviour statistic graphs, multi-tenant rule control REST-API
  • FoD v1.6 = FoD with automated rule proposal from RepShield
  • FoD v1.5 transition to production
      • David reviewed Evangelos' changes in the Service Template
  • FoD v1.6 development
      • Tomáš is in progress of extending extended rule format, now also the UI part
      • David started to test and update as necessary the code for getting NETCONF updates back to work: simple creation and deletion of rules and their associated routes work; but more testing needed
      • OS of fod-test-lab server is quite old (Cent OS 6): check whether it is possible to install a new server with Cent OS 7
      • David will investigate about whether and how easy and useful it would be to try testing of FoD in GTS, especially regarding available Juniper routers with appropriate JunOS version there
