Through the community policy framework, which provides recommendations for baseline “policy profiles” for the management of users within communities and infrastructures, the transparent use of peer or generic e-Infrastructures will be facilitated - since all of them can rely on a common understanding of how the user has joined the community and how attributes and membership life-cycle controls are maintained. In close collaboration with the EGI-ENGAGE and EOSC-HUB projects, community two framework policies were developed that support research infrastructures in security managing the community attribute repositories, and in aligning community membership management processes so that users can seamlessly use generic e-Infrastructures without the need for explicit sign-up.
