Task Force on Distributed Ledger Technologies
GÉANT Task Forces (TFs) are established under the auspices of GÉANT in order to create an open forum where experts from its community exchange information, knowledge, ideas and best practices about specific technical or other areas of business relevant to the research and education networking community.
The GÉANT TF-DLT, Distributed Ledger Technologies, is a forum to explore the usage of distributed ledger technologies (DLT) as well as distributed identity and Self Sovereign Identity (SSI) in the context of the research and the education community.

Who supports the wallet? And how does a user know they need to use it to add their permissions to it?
How likely is it that we will be able to zone in on a common commercial wallet solution? (to mitigate the risk that the user would have to navigate lots of different wallet apps!)
How do we avoid a complex landscape of trusted registries?
How open will the blockchain-hosted registries be? Could we in future find that commercials are using them in their for-profit solutions?
